Welcome to the Bootheel Beer Fest

On April 29th the Bootheel United Zymurgist will be hosting the 3rd annual Bootheel Beerfest and homebrew competition! Every year we will be raising money for a different local charity. Last year we raised money for St Vincent de Paul. This year the charity we are supporting is the Boys & Girls Club of Poplar Bluff.

Boys & Girls Club of Poplar Bluff

Boys & Girls Club of Poplar Bluff is an afterschool program serving around 400 youth daily across seven locations in Poplar Bluff; our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as caring, productive, and responsible citizens. The Club provides activities focused in three priority outcome areas: academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. Any youth ages 6-18 attending Poplar Bluff School District can become a member of Boys & Girls Club. BGC has a great partnership with our local schools to provide space for programming and resources for student academic support, as well as providing access to student achievement data to help track and provide a structured system for helping youth increase their grades and academic performance. It is our goal to help youth successfully graduate high school with a plan for having a great future.
